State University of Papua
The university was founded on the 3rd of November 2000, after being the Faculty of Agriculture of Universitas Cenderawasih, based in Jayapura. The university teaches Economics, Forestry, Agriculture and Earth Sciences.
The university is situated on a hill overlooking Manokwari and the rector is Prof. Dr. Ir. Frans Wanggai.
