Persijap, an acronym for Persatuan Sepak Bola Indonesia Jepara is an Indonesian football club based in Jepara, Central Java. In media, the tautology Persijap Jepara is often used.
Persijap is formed in 11 April 1954. The club has a yoyo club reputation due to its positions in the Liga Indonesia having been relegated and promoted often. Currently, Persijap plays in the Indonesia Super League. In the 1930s, born in Jepara formed by two Dutch football clubs. Namely Y.V.C and Alsides. They're also the big enemy of PSIS Semarang, its Panser Biru (Pasukan Semarang Biru, Team of Semarang Blue) and Snex (Supporter Semarang Extreme).
Persijap Jepara have a very tough competitor in the League of PSIS Semarang. Since the beginning of the meeting of the league, this game usually called Old Indonesia derby.
