Mugi Rekso Abadi is an Indonesian Holding company that provides a wide range of magazines, retail, hotel, broadcast division, food and beverages, lifestyle entertainment and also automotive industry. MRA was founded in 1993 and it is based in Jakarta and is one of the largest media groups in Indonesia.
MRA holding company was founded in 1993 by Soetikno Soedardjo. He decided to enter the non-government sector and formed PT Mugi Rekso Abadi as the holding Company of media and life style group of companies, starting out with his two colleagues Adiguna Sutowo and Dian M Soedardjo. Soetikno is currently the CEO of MRA. With investment of 8 Billion rupiah, Adiguna Sutowo and Soetikno Soedarjo made the company and its 1st lifestyle & Entertainment product, The Hard Rock cafx. the idea of Hard Rock Cafe was founded when a small talk between Adiguna Sutowo, Soetikno Soedarjo and Muthia Kasim. After the success of Hard Rock cafe, Suetikno decided the cafx must be backed up with another media company and as a result of that he invest in Broadcast media Division creating Hard Rock FM Jakarta, Bandung, and Bali, Zoom Bar & Lounge, i-Radio, MTV Radio, majalah Cosmo, Omni Chanel, and IP Entertainment.
There are 7 division in MRA holding company each one consists of different products which are, Printed Media, Broadcast Media, Retail & Lifestyle, Food & Beverage, Automotive, Hotel & Property.
